Self Bows

Self bows are carved from a single piece of wood – the wood itself.  For those enamored with the simple beauty of the wooden bow, there is nothing like a self bow.  Every gentle curve follows the path the Creator laid out when the tree sprang up from the ground.

Self bows are as simple as it gets, yet surprisingly difficult to create.  They don’t lend themselves to any sort of human short cuts (but the wait is worth it).  For the archer, they take excellent form and patient practice to master, but nothing beats the feeling of warmth and power in your hand like a simple piece of wood.
